Ten years ago, I took the keys to a little village pub with big ambitions. A decade later, The Pack Horse has become one of the country’s most celebrated pubs - recognised by Michelin, The Good Food Guide and the Top 50 Gastropubs.

Through all the highs, lows and everything in between, we’ve stayed true to what we set out to do: serve great food without ever losing sight of what we are: a quintessential local pub.

Great pubs aren’t made by their landlords alone. It takes a great team, of course, but most importantly it takes you. The people.
