FAQs
Are you dog friendly?
We warmly welcome our four-legged friends in all areas of our pub! If you have a large dog and require extra space, or if you have allergies, please let us know so we can do our best to accommodate your needs. Thank you!
Do you cater for all dietary requirements?
Our menu is thoughtfully curated by our kitchen, which means that many of our dishes include animal stocks, garlic, onions, and dairy. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for us to accommodate vegans or those with allergies to dairy and alliums at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
What is your largest booking size?
Due to the size of our restaurant, our largest table can accommodate up to six people. For larger groups, we can occasionally arrange for two tables; however, we cannot guarantee that your party will be seated in close proximity, and please be aware that each table may be assigned different time slots. We kindly ask that both tables arrive on time to ensure a smooth dining experience. Thank you for your understanding!
What is a Manchester Egg?
Great question! Our Manchester egg pays tribute to the original concept, which has an interesting story behind it. Ours features a soft-boiled, pickled egg that's enveloped in Doreen's black pudding and Glossop’s own Mettrick’s sausage meat, all coated in breadcrumbs. It's truly a must-try when you visit!
Do you have a Children’s menu?
We do not offer a dedicated children's menu, with the exception of our Beef and Lamb roasts available on Sundays. However, we do have a selection of snacks and sides that make great options for our younger guests. Thank you for your understanding!
